Instructions for use:

If the wood is new, make sure that there is no dust on the surface and that the wood grain is free of dust. If not, rinse with clean water and allow to dry thoroughly.

If teak is grey and weathered, treat first with Teak Cleaner and then with Teak Renovator. This renovation treatment is ESSENTIAL to open up the wood grain and allow Tropical Teak Sealer to penetrate the wood. Apply Teak Sealer with a clean cloth or foam brush.

The product is easy to spread. Use little product at a time. Most of the time, a single coat is enough; Sealer longevity is not proportional to the number of coats! Wipe off any excess oil from the surface. If the wood lightens rapidly within 2-3 weeks (often due to long periods of rain immediately after application), apply another coat of Sealer after thorough cleaning with Teak Cleaner. Caution: If Sealer runs onto surfaces other than teak, remove it immediately with a cloth before it dries. At the first signs of ageing, apply a new coat of Sealer. Teak Sealer doesn't stick, doesn't grease and penetrates the wood completely! Removes as it ages, without cracking the surface!
