The great designer Jean-Charles de Castelbaljac, more familiar with fabrics than metal, but who shares with Fermob a taste for beautiful work, revisits the iconic 1900 chair. And does it in a very poetic way... He invites us, thanks to this chair with outstretched wings, to take us away.
The back of this unique metal garden armchair features the kiss of two cherubs. A very beautiful way to lean against each other because the outline of their two silhouettes forms a heart... Ange will immediately bring a romantic and decorative spirit to your terrace or interior!
Inspired by the Belle Epoque, this ultra-design chair illustrates Fermob's expertise in metalworking. Particularly noteworthy are the wire bending, the hand-forged armrest rings and wings. And what about the laser cutting of the backrest, where the two cherubs face each other, as well as that of the seat with its lines from a Cocteau-style poem “Heart to heart, Nose to nose, Face to face, Bouche to mouth ".
We would almost hesitate to settle down on this pretty metal armchair... You would be wrong to deprive yourself of it: it will withstand the ravages of time thanks to Fermob's expertise in the design of outdoor furniture. It is notably covered with anti-UV, ultra-durable polyester powder paint.
