The Rolled Enamelware collection by Barebones is made of heavy-gauge steel (0.8 mm), coated with two layers of Japanese-designed enamel. The result is a professional-quality finish that is oven-, freezer-, and dishwasher-safe. Its rolled rim and universal proportions give it a timeless look, equally at home at the campsite or on the kitchen table. This large bowl is perfect for breakfast, dishes with sauce, or salads.

Three matte colors, designed to be freely mixed and matched:

Dusty Rose: a warm, powdery pink full of character, both vintage and contemporary.
Smoky Blue: a deep, soothing smoky blue, particularly well-suited for outdoor dining.

A: Yes. The enamel is non-reactive: it does not absorb flavors or odors and does not leach anything into food. It is PFOA-free, PTFE-free, and lead-free.

Q: Can I put it in the microwave?
A: No, enameled tableware contains metal and is not microwave-safe.

Q: Can I use this on a stovetop or over a wood fire?
A: Yes. Compatible with gas, electric, and induction cooktops. Direct flame use is possible; it may simply darken the enamel over time, but this does not affect its use.

Q: What is the maximum oven temperature?
A: Up to 260 °C.

Q: Is it refrigerator- and freezer-safe?
A: Yes. Just avoid going directly from extreme cold to a scorching hot surface: gradual temperature changes help preserve the enamel.

Q: Can the enamel chip?
A: Like any enamel, it can chip if dropped onto a hard surface or handled roughly. Normal daily use does not cause chipping. If a chip does appear, the item remains usable: be sure to dry the exposed metal thoroughly to prevent rust.
