Q: Is a battery included with the purchase?
A: Yes, the battery is individually packed in your box.
Q: Do I need to remove the plastic covering from the included battery?
A: No. The plastic covering is a safety mechanism. Do not remove the plastic battery cover before inserting the battery into the railroad lantern.
Q: How to install the battery?
A: For optimal performance, fully charge the battery before use.
Step 1: Rotate the bottom case counterclockwise to unlock and expose the battery compartment.
Step 2: Hold the lantern upside down and insert the battery top down into the battery slot. The top of the battery is marked with a "+" icon.
Step 3: Reattach the bottom case by pressing down and rotating clockwise until it locks.
Q: Can I store the Railroad Lantern outdoors for extended periods of time?
A: The Railway Lantern is not intended to be stored outdoors for long periods of time. Prolonged exposure to humid conditions can cause rust and unnecessary wear. We recommend storing your lantern indoors after use to help it last as long as possible and to avoid having to purchase a replacement lantern.
