INTERVIEW:

Blade: • Apply a thin layer of protective oil after each use. Regularly wipe off dirt, water, and fingerprints. Use a fine file to straighten larger dents or nicks in the blade. The edge can be sharpened with a medium-sized whetstone or wheel.

Cover: • Oilcloth should never be dry cleaned or machine washed. It can be cleaned carefully by hand. Brush off the dirt, rinse the surface with cold water, scrub gently with a brush, and then let it air dry. If stains persist, use mild soap or saddle soap.

After cleaning, the oilcloth may need to be re-waxed. To do this, use a wax conditioner and apply according to the manufacturer's instructions.
