When designing PAPYON, Swiss designer and architect Arnd Küchel looked to nature for examples, both in its design and in its elegance and practicality. The light, flexible and aesthetic wing of a butterfly inspired the first sketches of PAPYON, and Küchel soon noticed the similarities between these organic formations and DEDON fiber.
