Scandinavian design meets Shaker design (furniture inspired by the austere interiors of American settlers) . At home in any contemporary space, this transatlantic concept crosses creative boundaries, combining hints of modern architecture with a minimalist aesthetic. Cleverly combining two elemental materials – outdoor rope and plantation teak, designer Henrik Pedersen says: “the goal was to create the purest seating form with the most traditional materials, but to achieve comfort and statement beyond the more opulent routes.”
