Scandinavian design meets Shaker design (furniture inspired by the austere interiors of American settlers). At home in any contemporary space, this transatlantic concept transcends creative boundaries, combining hints of modern architecture with a minimalist aesthetic. Cleverly combining two elemental materials - outdoor rope and plantation teak, designer Henrik Pedersen says: "the aim was to create the purest form of seating with the most traditional materials, but to achieve a comfort and statement beyond the more opulent roads".
