Lava Stone trays are made up of 9 slats. These trays are intended for use with the Stocks base only.

Lava stone is a natural product. It is formed when lava from a volcano solidifies and turns into stone. This process occurs naturally during volcanic eruptions. Lava rock has the property that, as the lava flows out of the volcano, it drags along everything it encounters in its path - paper, iron and any other material it finds is absorbed by the lava. When the lava stone is then extracted, it's impossible to see what's inside.

Green spots' are pieces of iron inside the stone that turn green when baked at 950°C. Green stains are not a defect and do not cause any problems over time. Nor can the stain propagate or do anything similar.
