Glatz Parasol with FORTANO® offset pole, swivel feet not included.
Sturdy construction, flat roof and top-quality finish make this parasol a safe bet, even in strong winds.
FORTANO®:
Thanks to its closing height and intelligent technology for synchronous opening and closing, the FORTANO® is particularly popular in the catering sector.
Virtually vertical mast design, unlike the SOMBRANO® model, which is inclined. Very high wind resistance compared to the SOMBRANO® model.
Its multifunctional crank handle is a real technological gem. When turned, the cart moves upwards and the canopy opens at the same time. Like all sunshades in the F collection, the FORTANO® has been specially designed for use in windy locations. Despite its dimensions of 300 × 300 cm, it can easily withstand wind speeds of 55 km/h, thanks to our sturdy ground anchors. A windproof parasol for restaurant terraces or at home.
Equipment and technology:
The supporting frame and roof structure are available in natural anodized aluminum and powder-coated anthracite.
Protective cover included. Fixed or rotating swivel foot sold separately.
Minimum weight of sunshade base: 180kg (sold separately).
Canvas:
Fabric category 4: 100% polyester approx. 250 g/m², solution-dyed, pile fiber, color fastness 7, Uv-protection> 98%, easy-care, stain- and mildew-resistant. Optimum protection against direct exposure to ultraviolet rays. Not recommended for areas exposed to strong winds. Colors 400-499.
Fabric category 5 "waterproof": 100% polyacrylic approx. 300 g/m², solution-dyed, color fastness 7-8 Uv-protection> 98%, stain-, water- and oil-repellent, mildew-resistant. Optimum protection against direct exposure to ultraviolet rays. Recommended for areas exposed to strong winds. Colors 500-699.

The FORTANO® is opened and closed using the removable crank handle. The crank is self-locking.
