SOMBRANO® S+

GLATZ is known for its ideas. The SOMBRANO® S+ is the first free-arm parasol that opens and automatically positions itself horizontally when you activate its crank. Since Glatz has a practical mind, they mounted the pole on the side of the parasol. That's why you can freely enjoy all the space under the SOMBRANO® S+. Thanks to its tilt bar, the parasol roof can be tilted up to 54° on both sides and is even able to rotate 360° around its axis by operating its pivoting foot on included bearings. All you have to do is choose the quality and color of the canvas, as well as the optional fastening system.

Material and technique:

The load-bearing frame and the roof structure are available in natural anodized aluminum and powder-coated anthracite.

Minimum weight of the base for parasol dimensions Ø350cm, 300x300cm: 120kg

Minimum weight of the base for parasol dimensions Ø400cm, 350x350cm, 400x300cm: 150kg (180kg recommended).

Canvases:

Fabric category 4: 100% polyester approx. 250 g/m², solution-dyed, pile fibre, colorfastness 7, UV-PROTECTION > 98%, easy care, anti-stain and anti-mold treatment. Optimum protection against direct exposure to ultraviolet rays. Not recommended in locations exposed to strong winds. Colors 400–499.

Fabric category 5 "waterproof": 100% polyacrylic approx. 300 g/m², dyed in the mass, color fastness 7-8 UV-PROTECTION > 98%, anti-stain, water and oil repellent, anti-mold treatment. Optimal protection against direct exposure to ultraviolet rays. Recommended in places exposed to strong winds. Colors 500–699.

Functions:

The SOMBRANO® S+ opens and closes using the removable crank. The crank is self-locking. The tilt bar allows you to tilt the roof on both sides to 54° in steps of 18°. Fitted with a pivoting foot mounted on bearings, the SOMBRANO® S+ rotates 360°.
