In 1967, the company moved to Braintree to increase production, and in 1986, it expanded its operations to the United States with a subsidiary in New Jersey. To meet growing demand while maintaining ethical practices, Barlow Tyrie opened a subsidiary in Indonesia in 1992, where furniture processing and manufacturing follow environmentally friendly principles.
