MAINTENANCE:

Blade: - Apply a thin coat of protective oil after each use. Regularly wipe away dirt, water and fingerprints. Use a fine file to straighten larger dents or nicks in the blade. The cutting edge can be sharpened with a medium-sized sharpening disc or stone.

Sheathing: - Oilcloth should never be dry-cleaned or machine-washed. It can be carefully cleaned by hand. Brush away dirt, rinse the surface with cold water, scrub gently with a brush, then allow to air dry. If stains persist, use mild soap or saddle soap.

After cleaning, waxed canvas may need to be re-waxed. To do this, use a wax conditioner and apply according to the manufacturer's instructions.
