Description
Glatz ALEXO® 2 Parasol without ruffles.
An iconic model from the Glatz brand. It tilts halfway up thanks to the legendary, patented “ALEXO®” ball-joint mechanism.
Nothing is as timeless as quality. The ALEXO® model has been in production for over 80 years. Considered “the” iconic design, it has never been more in vogue than it is today. Thanks to its patented toothed joint and long central pole, its canopy can be tilted to several positions and adjusted to follow the sun.
The ALEXO® umbrella features a round frame with a diameter of 200 cm or 220 cm. Its pole is made of varnished ash, and its fluted, serrated crown is made of nickel-plated brass. It also offers a variety of mounting options, as it can be paired with an optional wall bracket, lawn spike, ground sleeve, or mobile base (accessories not included).
Frame: 10 ribs, lacquered ash wood pole, pole diameter 30 mm. Fixed height.
Canvas:
Canvas without flounce, reinforced with leather corners. (Canvas with ruffles available available to order).
Fabric Category 4: 100% polyester, approx. 250 g/m², solution-dyed, pile fiber, colorfastness 7, UV protection >98%, easy care, stain-resistant, and mold-resistant treatment. Optimal protection against direct exposure to ultraviolet rays. Not recommended for use in areas exposed to strong winds. Colors 400–499.
Fabric category 5 “waterproof”: 100% polyacrylic, approx. 300 g/m², solution-dyed, colorfastness 7–8, UV protection >98%, stain-resistant, water- and oil-repellent, mold-resistant treatment. Optimal protection against direct exposure to ultraviolet rays. Recommended for locations exposed to strong winds. Colors 500–699.

Instructions: To open, position the ALEXO® at an angle and push the sliding handle to a comfortable height until it clicks into place. Then adjust the ALEXO® using the grooved gear joint to face the sun.
